Raphael Schranz is an internationally certified Circular Economy Expert, Distributed Ledger Technology Investor, and Educator with a decade of practical experience in the sustainability sector. He is specialized in waste management and reverse logistics operations. He began his career as a Waste Management Consultant, advising communities, businesses, and organizations on waste avoidance, collection, disposal, waste to energy systems and overall environmental protection. As a corporate Environmental and Waste consultant, he ensured environmentally responsible operations, compliance with legal requirements, and advised on environmental management. After that he founded his own company where he is now working with clients globally, helping them transition to a global Circular Industrial Economy by implementing circular design, circular processes and business models to enable emission reductions and regenerative 0-Waste operations in matter, energy and water systems, subsequently reducing costs and even transforming these costs into income streams.
His expertise extends to Circular Economy training, resource mapping, and strategy planning, enabling clients worldwide to embrace circular business models that eliminate waste, emissions, and pollution while maximizing value. 
Moreover, Raphael played a key role in the Complexity Analysis of the Green Deal, where he mapped the strategic transition pathways and timelines to a European Circular Economy within 3 different value systems, namely the feedback loops between energy and food production- and consumption systems within circular value creation. 
The next focus points for Raphael are Circular Economy Education Programs and Circular Bioeconomy projects in Africa, a Circular Industrial agriculture 5.0 project, a Circular Energy System Project in Germany.
